SAJuR deepens its commitment to Corrientes: Second Training for the Judiciary begins
A second cohort of judicial officers and technical teams is training in restorative justice with SAJuR. Six virtual sessions with analysis of real cases.
From the Sociedad Argentina de Justicia Restaurativa (SAJuR), it is an honor and a joy to announce the start of our second training cohort for the Judiciary of the Province of Corrientes.
This new training cycle reaffirms our partnership and our ongoing commitment to strengthening ties and continuing to deepen the promotion of a restorative and participatory culture in the country's judicial institutions.
About the Training: "Tools, Dialogue and Transformation"
The course, titled "Restorative Justice: Tools, Dialogue and Transformation", is specially designed for judicial officers, technical teams, and social science professionals who seek to manage conflict from an innovative and human perspective.
The main goal of this training goes beyond theory. We seek to foster ethical and human sensitivity in approaching conflict, promoting a transformative outlook centered on the humanization, mutual recognition, and integration of everyone involved.
A Practical and Human Approach
Over the course of six virtual sessions, participants will explore the restorative philosophy in contrast to the traditional punitive approach. The methodology is actively participatory, combining theoretical presentations with dialogue and the analysis of real cases handled by the SAJuR team.
Some of the central themes to be addressed include:
- Reparation and Devictimization: the concept of reparation will be explored in depth, beyond the economic or transactional.
- Complex Contexts: the application of restorative practices in highly complex cases, such as gender-based violence, will be analyzed.
- Restorative Youth Justice: a module dedicated to understanding the role of the community and adults in rebuilding the social bond with young people in conflict with the law.
- The Role of the Facilitator: key tools such as active listening and empathy will be worked on.
This second training in Corrientes is a vital step in our purpose of building a justice that is closer to people, one that fosters reconciliation and reparation within the community.
